Cuba was absolutely unforgettable! I traveled with my aunt and we were lucky to be in a small but perfectly coordinated team – just the two of us, our amazing guide Jose, and our great driver Lazaro.
Jose was fantastic – not only did he know everything about Cuba (we really tested him!), but he was incredibly kind, funny, and down-to-earth. Lazaro was our angel behind the wheel – calm, relaxed, and always smiling.
The accommodation was always very nice, we were welcomed warmly and felt at home with our hosts 😉
It was more than we expected – adventure, laughter, experiences we will never forget. Thank you, Jose and Lazaro, you were amazing! ❤️🇨🇺 And especially thank you, Nikola, for planning everything so wonderfully ♥️

The trip perfectly matched its name: for vintage cars, cigars, and rum. Transport by vintage car with a flawless Cuban driver was a real experience. Staying in private homes allowed us to fully experience real life in Cuba. People were very kind and helpful everywhere. Everything was clean and tidy. The main plus of the trip was the guide Nikola Abudová. With her excellent knowledge of Cuba and local life, she raised the trip to the highest level. She helped us with everything from exchanging money to choosing restaurants and arranging drinking water. The guide has excellent management skills, and if any problems arose, we didn't notice them. "In March 2020, we visited Cuba with Nikola, just before the COVID outbreak. Our small group of four collected many unique experiences over two weeks :)) Right from the moment we squeezed into a taxi made in the mid-20th century with no seat belts but full volume reggaeton, we knew this would be a different kind of 'vacation.' With Nikola, we experienced Cuban countryside, Caribbean beaches, and colorful Havana. We mostly had no fixed itinerary, but Nikola's experience, language skills, contacts, and foresight always brought us where something was happening or simply where it was beautiful. "Greetings from snowy Šumava! Let me share some impressions from Cuba. And how was Cuba? … Simply amazing. It met all my expectations mainly thanks to our guide Nikola. She fully dedicated herself to us, took care of us, and was well prepared for various situations during our stay. The whole stay was really great – as planned and even more. From the beginning, when I was worried if Nikola would wait for us in Havana airport (we flew from Paris 2.5 hours late) until the last day when the whole group already flew home. Even that last day was unique – we wandered around Havana with Nikola – she was kind and pleasant until the very last moment. After arriving in Prague, my mood was a bit spoiled by the fact that my suitcase stayed in Paris, but on Monday evening it was safely delivered home, so… all's well that ends well. Pleasant ADVENT and many satisfied clients in the new year.
